Safety & Risk Awareness

Raireshwar and Kenjalgad are natural mountain environments involving plateau trails, uneven terrain, rocky sections, slopes, and fort climbs. During the monsoon, trails may become slippery due to rain and mud, while fog and reduced visibility can occur.

Participants must maintain appropriate distance from steep edges, waterfalls, and slippery sections and must follow the designated route and trek leader's instructions throughout the event.

Basic first-aid support is provided as part of the tour; however, participants are responsible for their own health, fitness, and personal safety.


Rules & Regulations

  • Consumption of alcohol, smoking, or any kind of intoxicants is strictly prohibited during the event. Any participant found under the influence may be removed from the group without refund.
  • Participants must respect nature, local communities, temples, villages, and surrounding areas.
  • Littering or leaving behind plastic, wrappers, or waste materials is strictly prohibited.
  • Plucking flowers, damaging vegetation, disturbing wildlife, or removing natural objects is strictly prohibited.
  • Loud music, shouting, or creating unnecessary disturbance in forest areas, villages, or trekking routes is not allowed.
  • Participants must follow the instructions and decisions of the trek leader regarding safety, discipline, route, and group coordination.
  • Rocky, steep, muddy, and slippery sections must be crossed carefully with suitable trekking footwear.
  • Any misconduct, harassment, argument, or behavior causing inconvenience to fellow participants or staff may result in immediate removal from the event without refund.
  • Adventure Club Pune provides basic first-aid support, but medical treatment, evacuation, or emergency transportation expenses shall be borne by the participant.
  • Participants are advised not to carry expensive ornaments, unnecessary cash, or valuables. Adventure Club Pune shall not be responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
  • Travel and medical insurance are mandatory for all participants and should remain valid for the duration of the trip.
  • The booking amount is non-refundable if a participant cancels for any reason, including personal or medical circumstances.
  • Every event operates with a minimum of 12 confirmed participants. If the minimum number is not achieved, an alternate trek, rescheduling, or full refund may be offered depending on the situation.
  • Meals provided during the event will be simple, freshly prepared, vegetarian meals as mentioned in the itinerary.
  • A dedicated WhatsApp coordination group may be created before departure for updates, pickup information, and on-ground communication.
  • Pickup points and timings may be changed due to traffic, vehicle issues, or operational requirements. Participants will be informed whenever possible.
  • The itinerary may be changed due to weather conditions, roadblocks, safety concerns, government restrictions, or other unavoidable circumstances.
  • By registering for the event, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to the applicable terms and conditions of Adventure Club Pune.

Health & Fitness Declaration

Participants should have sufficient physical fitness to undertake a full-day outdoor experience involving walking, climbing, descending, uneven terrain, and monsoon trail conditions.

Participants are responsible for carrying their personal medicines and informing the trek leader about any relevant health or fitness concern that may affect their participation.


Travel & Medical Insurance

Travel and medical insurance are mandatory for all participants and should remain valid for the complete duration of the trip.

Adventure Club Pune does not assume responsibility for expenses arising from personal medical conditions, accidents, injuries, emergency treatment, evacuation, or hospitalization unless specifically covered under the applicable package or insurance.


Weather, Natural Conditions & Force Majeure

The Raireshwar–Kenjalgad experience takes place in a natural Sahyadri environment and is subject to changing weather and terrain conditions.

The trek may be modified, postponed, rerouted, rescheduled, or cancelled when required due to heavy rainfall, landslides, flooding, dangerous trail conditions, poor visibility, roadblocks, government restrictions, forest restrictions, vehicle issues, natural calamities, or other unavoidable circumstances.

The decision of Adventure Club Pune regarding operational and safety-related changes shall be final.
