Travelers who have opted for the self-drive package should directly reach the base village at 03:00 AM. (Please keep offline Google Maps downloaded as there is a network issue in the mountain region and try to reach the base village before 03:00 AM)

Itinerary:

09:00 PM – Depart for Mangi Tungi base village via private vehicle.

Overnight travel with halt breaks along the route.

04:00 AM – Arrival at Base Village.

Reach the serene base village near Mangi Tungi.

Freshen up and enjoy hot veg breakfast prepared locally.

Trek leader briefing and group stretch session before ascent.

05:00 AM – Trek Begins.

Begin your climb towards Mangi Tungi. The trail consists of well-carved steps that wind through rock faces, ancient temples, and scenic patches.

The route is culturally rich with Jain temples, caves, and spiritual inscriptions that date back centuries.

07:30 AM – Summit & Exploration.

Reach the top and explore the highlights:

108-ft Statue of Lord Rishabhdev (Statue of Ahimsa) – World’s tallest Jain idol.

Sacred Jain caves and temples on both Mangi and Tungi peaks.

Breathtaking sunrise views and panoramic vistas of Sahyadris and Satana valley.

Spend ample time soaking in the peaceful energy and taking pictures.

11:30 AM – Start Descend.

Begin the trek back down the steps. Use this time to reflect, relax, and relive the climb.

Trek leader ensures everyone's pace and safety on the descent.

02:00 PM – Lunch at Base Village.

Return to base and enjoy a fulfilling local veg lunch served hot.

Rest and share stories from the trek with fellow trekkers.

03:00 PM – Depart for Pune.

Board the vehicle and begin return journey to Pune with pit stops for refreshments and rest.

Also, it's important to follow safety guidelines and respect the environment while exploring the wilderness.
Things to Carry:

- Raincoat / Poncho / Wind cheater (Avoid umbrella only for monsoon) ⛈️

- Good trekking/sports shoes (chappals, sandals, floaters not permitted during the trek) 👟

Rules and Regulations:
- Alcohol, Smoking, or any intoxicant is strictly prohibited during the trek. If found, the participant will be terminated on the spot. 🚫
- Throwing garbage on trails is strictly not allowed. 🚮
- Playing loud music in the mountains/Forest is prohibited. 🎶
- Trek Leader's decisions on any particular situation will be final for the mutual benefit of the participants. 👮
- During the monsoon season and various rock patches on the trek route, we recommend you to please take care while walking/climbing/trekking. ⚠️
- If the behavior of any trekker is likely to cause distress or harm to themselves, our member of staff or other team members, reserve the right to terminate their trip at any time and they will have to make their own arrangements; we will not be liable for any expenses incurred as a result. We will not entertain any claims arising due to such action. 🚫
- In case of any injuries/illness on a mountain/river/waterfall during a trip/activity, Adventure Club Pune as a company or our local staff will not be responsible. We provide adequate human staff support in these areas to ensure the basic safety of the trekker. The participants must bear all the expenses that may arise in case of medical necessity or emergency conditions. ⚕️
- Wearing any valuables, ornaments, jewelry, etc. is prohibited. 💎
- You should strictly follow the code of conduct, to avoid troubling our fellow trekkers or other people from our group or outside. 👥

The Mangi Tungi trek is a blend of adventure, history, and spiritual significance.
Located in the Satana-Surgana belt of Nashik district, this twin-peaked mountain rises dramatically from the Deccan plateau and holds immense religious importance in Jainism. The 4,300+ ft ascent rewards you with breathtaking views, giant statues, and ancient rock-cut carvings along the way.
