Itinerary

Day 1: Guwahati To Dirang

Approx. 310 km / 8–9 Hours

• Start early morning from Guwahati.

• Begin the scenic journey towards Dirang via Tezpur.

• Cross Bhalukpong, the entry point to Arunachal Pradesh.

• Complete the required Inner Line Permit (ILP) check at the entry point.

• Continue the journey along the scenic Kameng River.

• En route visit Tipi Orchid Research Centre, subject to available time.

• Continue towards Dirang through beautiful mountain landscapes.

• Reach Dirang, a picturesque valley town known for its orchards, hot springs and monasteries.

• Check in at the homestay.

• Relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

• Overnight stay in Dirang.

Day 2: Dirang To Tawang

Approx. 135 km / 5–6 Hours

• Enjoy breakfast at the homestay.

• Start the journey towards Tawang through scenic mountain roads.

• Cross the spectacular Sela Pass, located at approximately 13,700 ft.

• Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and Sela Lake, subject to seasonal conditions.

• Continue towards Jaswant Garh War Memorial, dedicated to Rifleman Jaswant Singh.

• Pay respects and explore the memorial area.

• Continue towards Nuranang Waterfalls (Jang Falls).

• Enjoy the scenic beauty of the waterfall and surrounding valley.

• Continue the journey towards Tawang.

• Reach Tawang and check in at the homestay.

Day 3: Tawang – Bum La Pass Excursion

• Start the excursion towards Bum La Pass, located at approximately 15,200 ft near the Indo-China border.

• Bum La Pass visit is subject to required permits, weather conditions, road conditions and local security permissions.

• En route visit Madhuri Lake (Sangetsar Lake).

• Continue towards PT Tso Lake.

• Enjoy the spectacular high-altitude landscapes and mountain views.

• Continue towards Bum La Pass.

• Spend time at the permitted areas and enjoy the unique border-region landscape.

• Begin the return journey towards Tawang.

• Reach Tawang by evening.

• Visit Tawang Monastery, one of the most important Buddhist monasteries in the region.

• Explore the monastery and surrounding area, subject to available time.

• Overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 4: Tawang To Dirang

Approx. 135 km / 5–6 Hours

• Check out and begin the return journey towards Dirang.

• Drive through scenic mountain roads surrounded by snow peaks and valleys.

• Stop at Sela Pass for photographs if the location could not be properly explored during the onward journey.

Day 5: Dirang To Guwahati

• Continue via Shergaon and the Bhutan Border region, as per the designated route and road conditions.

Safety & Risk Awareness

• Arunachal Pradesh involves long mountain drives and high-altitude travel.
• Mountain roads may have sharp turns, steep sections, landslides, snow, fog and unpredictable weather.
• Participants must remain with the group during sightseeing and follow the instructions of the driver and tour coordinator.
• Do not enter restricted or unsafe areas.
• Avoid approaching cliff edges, fast-flowing water or unstable terrain.
• Participants should immediately inform the tour coordinator about any discomfort, altitude-related symptoms or medical concerns.
• Emergency response and evacuation in remote mountain areas may take additional time.

Rules And Regulations

• Minimum Group Requirement: Every tour/event operates with a minimum requirement of 12 confirmed participants. If the minimum number is not achieved, Adventure Club Pune reserves the right to offer an alternate tour/itinerary, reschedule the booking to the next available batch, or provide a full refund, as applicable to the situation.

• Valid Identification: Every participant must carry a valid government-issued photo identification document throughout the tour. Participants are solely responsible for producing the required documents for airport, hotel, Inner Line Permit, security, military or other official verification.

• Mandatory Compliance: All participants must strictly comply with local government regulations, Inner Line Permit requirements, military/security regulations, forest department rules, police instructions and directions issued by local authorities throughout the tour.

• Restricted & Protected Areas: Participants must not enter, cross or photograph restricted, prohibited, military, border or protected areas without explicit permission from the concerned authorities. Any violation shall be the sole responsibility of the participant.

• Bum La Pass & High-Security Areas: Access to Bum La Pass and other sensitive border areas is strictly subject to permits, security clearance, weather conditions, road conditions and instructions issued by the concerned authorities. Adventure Club Pune cannot guarantee access to any restricted location. The decision of the concerned authorities regarding access shall be final.

• Itinerary & Operational Changes: Adventure Club Pune reserves the right to modify, alter, shorten, reroute, postpone or cancel any part of the itinerary when required due to weather, road conditions, security restrictions, government instructions, permit limitations, vehicle conditions, local circumstances or participant safety.

• Tour Coordinator's Authority: The instructions and decisions of the Adventure Club Pune tour coordinator, driver or designated representative regarding route, sightseeing, vehicle movement, restricted areas, timings, safety precautions and operational arrangements shall be final and binding on all participants.

• Punctuality: Participants must report at the designated locations and timings communicated by Adventure Club Pune. Delays caused by individual participants shall not be the responsibility of the organizer, and the vehicle/group may proceed according to the operational schedule.

• Vehicle Safety: Participants must remain seated while the vehicle is moving, use seat belts wherever provided and strictly follow all vehicle safety instructions issued by the driver or tour coordinator.

• Responsible Behaviour: Any form of misconduct, abusive behaviour, threatening behaviour, harassment, indiscipline, disturbance or behaviour that affects the safety, comfort or experience of other participants will not be tolerated.

• Alcohol & Intoxicants: Consumption, possession or use of alcohol, illegal substances or intoxicants during transportation, sightseeing or tour activities is strictly prohibited where it may compromise safety, discipline or applicable local regulations. Participants found violating this rule may be removed from the tour without any obligation on the organizer to provide a refund.

• Cleanliness & Environment: Participants must maintain cleanliness throughout the journey and must not litter, damage natural surroundings, monuments, forests, water bodies or public property.

• Respect for Local Culture: Participants must respect local communities, monasteries, temples, religious places, cultural traditions, customs and local sensitivities. Photography or videography must be avoided wherever prohibited.

• Accommodation Rules: Participants must follow the rules and policies of the accommodation provider. Any damage, breakage, loss or additional charges caused due to participant negligence, misconduct or unauthorized use shall be payable by the concerned participant.

• Personal Belongings: Participants are responsible for their own mobile phones, cameras, cash, documents, luggage, valuables and personal belongings. Adventure Club Pune shall not be responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings.

• Medical & Emergency Expenses: Any expenses arising from medical treatment, hospitalization, medication, ambulance services, emergency transportation, evacuation or other personal medical requirements shall be borne by the participant unless specifically covered under a valid insurance policy.

• Fitness & Health: Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are physically and medically fit for long-distance travel and high-altitude sightseeing. Participants must inform the tour coordinator of any relevant medical condition or requirement that may affect their participation.

• Safety Compliance: Participants who refuse to follow reasonable safety instructions, enter prohibited areas, separate themselves from the group without informing the coordinator or otherwise create a safety risk may be restricted from participating in a particular activity or removed from the activity/tour without refund, depending on the circumstances.

• No Guarantee of Sightseeing: Individual sightseeing points, including high-altitude or restricted locations, are not guaranteed where access is affected by weather, road conditions, permits, security restrictions, government orders or other circumstances beyond the organizer's control.

• Force Majeure: Adventure Club Pune shall not be held responsible for delays, changes, cancellations or additional expenses arising from natural disasters, extreme weather, landslides, snowfall, road closures, government restrictions, security situations, strikes, vehicle breakdowns or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.

• Acceptance of Terms: By making a booking or participating in the tour, the participant confirms that they have read, understood and accepted the itinerary, inclusions, exclusions, additional charges, safety requirements, rules and regulations and applicable terms and conditions of Adventure Club Pune.

• Final Authority for Safety: Participant safety shall remain the primary consideration. Adventure Club Pune reserves the final authority to restrict participation, change the route, alter the schedule, skip a location or take any other reasonable operational decision when considered necessary for the safety and security of participants or the smooth operation of the tour.

By participating in the tour, every participant agrees to comply with the above rules and acknowledges that failure to comply may result in restriction or termination of participation without refund, depending on the circumstances.

Health & Fitness Declaration

Participants should be physically fit for long-distance road travel and high-altitude sightseeing.

Individuals with existing medical conditions, breathing difficulties, heart-related concerns, severe motion sickness or other conditions that may be affected by high altitude should consult a qualified medical professional before undertaking the tour.

Participants are responsible for carrying their prescribed medicines and informing the tour coordinator about any relevant medical requirements.

Participant Consent & Assumption Of Risk

By booking and participating in the tour, the participant acknowledges that travel through mountainous and high-altitude regions involves inherent risks including unpredictable weather, road conditions, altitude-related discomfort, delays, landslides, restricted access and other unforeseen circumstances.

The participant agrees to follow the instructions of the tour coordinator, driver, local authorities and security personnel and accepts responsibility for personal safety and belongings during the tour.

Travel & Medical Insurance

Travel and medical insurance is strongly recommended for all participants.

Any medical treatment, hospitalization, emergency transportation, evacuation, medication or other personal medical expenses are the responsibility of the participant unless specifically covered under a valid insurance policy.

Weather, Natural Conditions & Force Majeure

Arunachal Pradesh is a mountainous region where weather and road conditions can change rapidly.

The itinerary may be modified, delayed, rerouted, postponed or cancelled due to heavy snowfall, rainfall, landslides, road closures, poor visibility, extreme weather, security restrictions, government instructions, permit restrictions, vehicle-related issues or other circumstances beyond the organizer's control.

No specific sightseeing location can be guaranteed when access is restricted by authorities or prevailing conditions.
