Itinerary:

  • 08:00 PM – Pickup from Katraj PMT Bus Stop

  • 08:15 PM – Journey to Katraj Tunnel starting point

  • 09:00 PM – Arrival at Katraj Tunnel

  • 10:00 PM – Begin night trek (16.5 km)

  • 05:00 AM – Reach Sinhagad Fort junction (timing may vary depending on group pace)

  • 06:00 AM – Witness sunrise at Sinhagad Fort

  • 06:30 AM – Start descent towards base village

  • 07:30 AM – Breakfast at base village

  • 09:00 AM – Board PMT bus from Donje/Kondhanpur to Pune

  • 10:00 AM – Arrive Pune; trek ends

  •  Note: Itinerary may vary due to weather, traffic, or unforeseen circumstances. Private batches can be customized. If participant couldn't descent sinhgad, 7/12 seater vehicles are available from sinhgad parking (you have to pay).


Things to Carry:

  • Lightweight, breathable full-sleeve trekking clothes (protect from insects and scratches)

  • Light jacket/windcheater for cold at high altitudes

  • Sturdy trekking shoes with good grip (mandatory)

  • Minimum 3-4 liters of water per person

  • Torch or headlamp with extra batteries (mobile flashlight discouraged)

  • Power bank for mobile charging

  • Personal medicines, if any (painkillers, allergy meds, etc.)

  • Identity proof (Aadhaar, driving license, etc.)

  • Personal hygiene kit (wet wipes, tissues, sanitizer, small towel)

  • Small rucksack/backpack to carry all essentials (avoid trolley bags)

  • Lightweight snacks for the trail

  • ORS/electrolyte powder to prevent dehydration

  • Energy snacks: dry fruits, chocolate, energy bars, glucose


Rules and Regulations:

  • No Alcohol/Smoking/Intoxicants: Strictly prohibited. Violators will be asked to leave the trek immediately.

  • Respect Nature: Do not litter; carry back all plastic or wrappers.

  • Silence in Nature: Avoid playing loud music or shouting in forests/villages.

  • Follow Trek Leader’s Instructions: For your safety and group coordination, their decision is final.

  • Safety First: Some trails may have rocky/steep patches—walk carefully, especially in early mornings with dew.

  • Behaviour Policy: Any misconduct, harassment, or action causing harm/disturbance to fellow trekkers will lead to termination from the trek.

  • Personal Responsibility: Adventure Club Pune ensures safety support, but in case of injury, illness, or emergency, expenses will be borne by the participant.

  • No Valuables: Avoid carrying ornaments, expensive gadgets, or items you cannot afford to lose.

  • Environment Code: Do not pluck flowers, disturb wildlife, or damage village property.
