ITINERARY

Day 1 – Departure from Pune

•  Pickup begins from selected Pune boarding points.
•  Meet fellow travellers and tour coordinator.
•  Start overnight journey towards Bhorgiri village.
•  Introduction session and travel briefing during the journey.

Day 2 – Fireflies Experience and Return

•  Arrive at Bhorgiri Base Village.
•  Freshen up and relax for a short while.
•  Safety briefing and group instructions by trek leader.
•  Begin guided jungle walk through Bhimashankar forest region.
•  Experience magical fireflies glowing across trees and forest canopy.
•  Return to campsite and rest in common hall setup with foam mats.
•  Wake up to peaceful village surroundings.
•  Optional short trek to Bhorgiri Fort for scenic morning views.
• OR
•  Relax in village surroundings and enjoy nature.
•  Return to campsite and enjoy breakfast.
•  Depart for Pune with memorable experiences.
•  Reach Pune by late morning.

•  Firefly sightings depend completely on weather, humidity, moonlight, and seasonal conditions.
•  Best viewing period is generally May to June.
•  Fireflies are part of a natural ecosystem; sightings cannot be guaranteed every night.
•  No refund shall be provided in case of fewer or no sightings.
•  Itinerary may change due to traffic, weather, operational delays, or safety reasons.
•  Stay arrangements are basic village-style facilities and not luxury accommodations.
•  Optional trek depends on weather and group schedule.
•  Private batches can be customised subject to availability.

RULES & REGULATIONS

•  Minimum 12 participants required for batch confirmation.
• If minimum participants are not met:

1. Alternative trek/tour with fare adjustment
2. Reschedule to next available batch
3. Full refund option

•  Silence must be maintained during firefly spotting. No flash photography or loud noise allowed.
•  Music will be switched off at the campsite as per local rules and schedule.
•  Respect locals, nature, fellow campers, and surrounding property.
•  Participants must follow all instructions given by trek leader / coordinator, especially during trails.
•  Camp or stay property damage caused by participants will be chargeable.
•  Firefly sightings depend on weather and seasonal conditions (best during May–June). No refund will be provided for non-sightings.
•  Throwing garbage on trails or campsite area is strictly prohibited.
•  Playing loud music in mountains, forest areas, or villages is not allowed.
•  Trek Leader’s decision in any situation will be final for the safety and mutual benefit of the group.
•  If behaviour of any participant causes distress, danger, or inconvenience to staff or other travellers, organisers reserve the right to terminate participation without refund.
•  In case of injury, illness, or medical emergency during the trip, organisers and local staff shall not be responsible for expenses arising from treatment, rescue, transport, or hospitalization.
•  Wearing valuables, ornaments, jewellery, or carrying expensive items is not recommended.
•  Participants must strictly follow the code of conduct and avoid disturbing fellow trekkers, locals, wildlife, or any outside persons.
•  Organisers reserve the right to modify itinerary, route, or schedule due to weather, traffic, safety, or unforeseen circumstances.
•  Consumption of alcohol, drugs, or any intoxicating substance during the trip is strictly prohibited.
•  Registration confirms acceptance of all trip rules and policies.
