- 06:00 AM: Depart from Pune
- 09:00 AM: Reach Peth Village / Base Village
- 09:30 AM: Have breakfast
- 10:00 AM: Start the trek towards Kothaligad Fort
- 12:00 PM: Reach the top of Kothaligad Fort
- 12:00 PM – 01:00 PM: Relax and explore the fort, caves and surrounding viewpoints
- 01:00 PM: Start descending via the same route
- 02:30 PM: Reach Base Village
- 03:00 PM: Have lunch

- Base-to-base participants must directly reach Peth Village by 08:30 AM.

Safety & Risk Awareness
Trekking and fort exploration involve inherent outdoor risks including uneven terrain, slippery surfaces, loose rocks, steep sections, falls, fatigue, dehydration, changing weather and other natural hazards.
Participants must remain with the group and follow instructions provided by the trek leader and guide throughout the activity.
Participants are responsible for taking reasonable care of their own safety and belongings. Adventure Club Pune and its associates shall not be responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings.
Any medical treatment, hospitalization, medication, ambulance, emergency evacuation or other medical expenses arising during the trip shall be borne by the participant.
Special Safety Advisory
Kothaligad is a natural mountain environment with uneven trails, rocky sections and exposed areas around certain fort sections.
Participants must:
- Avoid running or rushing on the trail.
- Do not climb onto unsafe edges, exposed rocks or restricted sections.
- Do not attempt stunts or risky photography.
- Maintain a safe distance from steep drops and cliff edges.
- Follow designated routes and barriers wherever provided.
- Never separate from the group without informing the trek leader.
- Follow all instructions regarding weather and route conditions.
The trek leader may restrict access to any section considered unsafe due to weather, trail conditions, crowding or other safety concerns.
Rules And Regulations

Consumption of alcohol, smoking, or any kind of intoxicants is strictly prohibited during the event; if found under the influence, the participant will be immediately removed from the group without any refund or further participation.

All participants must respect nature and local surroundings; littering or leaving behind plastic, wrappers, or waste materials is strictly forbidden and may result in penalties or denial of future participation.

Loud music, shouting, or causing any disturbance in forest areas, villages, or campsites is not allowed to maintain peace and respect local sentiments.

Participants must follow the instructions and decisions of the trek leader or guide at all times; their decision will be final in matters related to safety, discipline, and group coordination.

Certain sections of treks may involve rocky, steep, or slippery terrain; participants are expected to walk carefully, wear proper trekking shoes, and take full responsibility for their personal safety.

Any form of misconduct, argument, harassment, or behavior that causes harm, inconvenience, or discomfort to fellow trekkers or staff will result in immediate removal from the event without refund.

Adventure Club Pune ensures basic safety measures and first-aid support, but in case of injury, illness, accident, or emergency, all expenses including medical treatment, evacuation, or transportation will be borne by the participant.

Participants are advised not to carry ornaments, cash, or expensive gadgets; the organizers will not be responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.

Damaging village property, plucking flowers, disturbing wildlife, or engaging in any activity harmful to the environment is strictly prohibited and may lead to legal action.

Travel and medical insurance are mandatory for all participants and must be valid for the duration of the trip; this ensures coverage in case of medical or accidental emergencies.

The booking amount is non-refundable if the participant cancels the booking for any reason, including personal or medical circumstances.

Every event operates with a minimum of 12 confirmed participants; if this number is not met, we may offer an alternate trek, reschedule to the next available batch, or provide a full refund as per the situation.

Our experiences are designed to offer authentic outdoor adventure in the Sahyadris; hence, luxury amenities such as resort-style accommodation or lavish facilities are not part of the package.

Participant Consent & Assumption Of Risk
Trekking, fort exploration, mountain walking, transportation and associated outdoor activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, injuries, physical exhaustion, dehydration, illness, changing weather conditions, natural hazards, property damage and, in extreme circumstances, serious injury, permanent disability or death.
By booking and participating in the trek, the participant voluntarily accepts and assumes the inherent risks associated with the activity.
Adventure Club Pune and its affiliates shall not be responsible for incidents arising from natural hazards, participant negligence, failure to follow safety instructions, weather conditions, actions of third parties or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Travel & Medical Insurance
Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain appropriate personal travel insurance and medical/accident insurance covering trekking and adventure activities.
Adventure Club Pune does not provide individual medical or accident insurance to participants unless specifically mentioned under the package inclusions.
Any medical treatment, hospitalization, medication, ambulance or emergency evacuation expenses shall be borne by the participant.
Weather, Natural Conditions & Force Majeure
The Kothaligad Fort Trek is subject to natural and operational conditions that may affect the planned itinerary.
