ADVENTURE CLUB PUNE invites you to the Fireflies Festival at Purushwadi, Harishchandraga to Witness the natural glooming light amidst the mountain and dense forest, a perfect ambiance created by the twinkling little fireflies for their mating ritual. Summer is the perfect time when we can experience the synchronous twinkling of hundreds of fireflies- one of the most beautiful phenomena in nature.

What is included in the tour

    Food menu:  Maharashtrian local cuisine - Veg 

  • Camping gear: Tent on 2/3 sharing basis, Blanket, and Foam Mat

What is NOT included in the tour

  • Does not include travel to and from the campsite ( without a transport package)

Itinerary

Pickup locations from Pune:

  1. Novotel Hotel, Viman Nagar at 9 am.
  2. Cafe Goodluck, F.C road at 9:40 am.
  3. Breman Chouk, Aundh at 10 am
  4. Nashik Phata at 10:30 am

Kasara Railway Station by 1 pm.

Day 1​

  • Travelers joining from Kasara are supposed to join us at Kasara Railway Station by 1 pm.
  • Travelers from Pune are supposed to join us at F.C. road by 9 am.
  • Start the journey towards the base village 
  • Travelers who have opted for the self-drive package should reach directly at Campsite after 3 pm.
  • 3:00 PM – Arrive at base village  
  • 3 PM – 4 PM – Free time, explore village till 4 PM
  • 4:00 PM -Orientation and Tent allotment
  • 5:00 PM - High Tea and snacks 
  • 9:30 PM – 11 PM - Dinner, Bonfire
  • Fireflies Night Trek (2-3 hrs.)

Day 2

  • 8 am. – Breakfast, Enjoy the sunrise. 
  • Harishchandragad Trek (6-8 hrs.) optional
  • Start return journey towards Pune/Kasara at 2 pm. 
  • Reach Kasara at 5 pm.    
  • Reach Pune at 9 pm.                                                                                         
  • Tour Concludes with Happy Memories :)
