Itinerary

DAY 1 – New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport → Gangtok

• Arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB).

• Meet the tour representative and begin the journey towards Gangtok.

• Drive through the scenic Himalayan landscape towards Gangtok.

• Reach Gangtok and check in to the hotel.

• Freshen up and relax after the journey.

• Evening: Free time to explore MG Marg at your own pace.

• Overnight stay in Gangtok.

DAY 2 – Gangtok → Tsomgo Lake → Baba Harbhajan Mandir → Gangtok

• After breakfast: Begin the excursion towards Tsomgo Lake.

• Travel through the scenic mountain roads towards Tsomgo Lake.

• Visit Tsomgo Lake and enjoy the surrounding Himalayan landscapes.

• Continue towards Baba Harbhajan Mandir.

• Explore the shrine and surrounding mountain landscape.

• Any medical treatment, hospitalization, evacuation or emergency expenses not included in the package shall be borne by the participant.

Rules And Regulations

• Alcohol, smoking and intoxicating substances are prohibited during activities and where restricted by local rules.
• Participants must maintain discipline throughout the tour.
• Respect local culture, monasteries, temples, communities and religious places.
• Appropriate behaviour and dress should be maintained at religious sites.
• Do not litter at tourist attractions, roads, forests, lakes or viewpoints.
• Do not damage historical, religious or natural structures.
• Loud music or behaviour disturbing other tourists and local residents is not permitted.
• Participants must follow the instructions of the tour coordinator and local guide.
• Adventure Club Pune is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings.
• Participants are responsible for their personal documents, valuables, luggage and travel tickets.
• Sightseeing may be modified due to weather, traffic, local restrictions, permits or unforeseen circumstances.
• The tour coordinator's decision regarding itinerary adjustments and safety management shall be final.

Health & Fitness Declaration

Participants confirm that they are voluntarily participating in the Sikkim–Pelling–Darjeeling tour and are physically capable of travelling through mountainous terrain, walking during sightseeing and managing long road journeys.

Participants should disclose any relevant medical condition, allergy, injury or medication requirement that may affect their participation.

Participants travelling to high-altitude destinations should take appropriate precautions and consult a qualified medical professional if they have concerns regarding altitude or travel-related health conditions.

Participant Consent & Assumption Of Risk

Mountain travel, road transportation, sightseeing, walking, high-altitude excursions and outdoor activities involve inherent risks, including road-related incidents, slips and falls, weather-related hazards, illness, altitude-related discomfort, property damage and, in extreme circumstances, serious injury or death.

By participating, the participant voluntarily accepts these inherent travel risks and agrees to follow the instructions of the Adventure Club Pune tour coordinator, local guide, driver and support team.

Adventure Club Pune and its affiliates shall not be responsible for incidents arising from natural hazards, participant negligence, failure to follow instructions, weather conditions, third parties or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Travel & Medical Insurance

Personal travel, medical and accident insurance is strongly encouraged for all participants.

Participants are responsible for arranging suitable insurance for the complete duration of the tour, including travel from Pune/Mumbai to the starting point if applicable.

Weather, Natural Conditions & Force Majeure

The tour itinerary may be modified, postponed, rerouted, rescheduled or cancelled when required for participant safety or due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Adventure Club Pune.
