The trek begins from Donje Base Village and takes participants through a scenic uphill trail surrounded by rugged terrain, greenery, and beautiful mountain views. As the trail gradually climbs towards the fort, trekkers get an opportunity to experience the natural beauty of the Sahyadri ranges while learning about the historical significance of Sinhagad.
After reaching the fort, participants can enjoy a traditional local breakfast with tea before exploring the important areas and viewpoints around the fort. The fort exploration provides opportunities for photography, sightseeing, and understanding the historical and geographical importance of the region.
After completing the fort exploration, the group will proceed towards the designated parking area, where the vehicle will be available for the return journey. Participants can then travel back towards Pune, with the expected arrival depending on traffic and prevailing weather conditions.
