- Participants should carry an extra set of dry clothes and slippers as they may get wet during the trek and rappelling activity.
- Proper trekking shoes with good grip are mandatory for the trail.
- Mobile network may be weak or unavailable in certain sections of the route.
- Participants must maintain a safe distance from waterfall edges, cliffs, deep pools, slippery rocks, and restricted areas.

Safety & Risk Awareness
At Adventure Club Pune, participant safety is our highest priority. The event is planned with experienced Trek Leaders, local coordination, activity instructors, route assessment, appropriate rappelling equipment, and basic emergency preparedness.
Trekking and waterfall rappelling are outdoor adventure activities conducted in natural environments where certain risks cannot be completely eliminated. Participants may encounter uneven terrain, slippery rocks, flowing water, wet surfaces, changing weather conditions, insects, and other natural hazards.
Waterfall rappelling additionally involves height and controlled descent on a wet rock surface. Participants acknowledge these inherent risks and agree to follow all safety instructions throughout the activity.
The decision of the Trek Leader, rappelling instructor, or activity coordinator regarding participant eligibility, waterfall access, water conditions, rappelling activity, route, or safety shall be final.
Special Safety Advisory — Waterfall Rappelling
Waterfall rappelling is an adventure activity involving natural water flow, height, wet rock surfaces, ropes, harnesses, and changing environmental conditions.
Participants specifically acknowledge and accept that:
- Water flow may increase suddenly due to rainfall or upstream water conditions.
- Wet rocks and slippery surfaces may increase the possibility of slips and falls.
- Natural hazards such as falling stones, loose rocks, branches, uneven terrain, and sudden changes in weather may exist.
- The waterfall environment may become unsafe without prior notice due to heavy rainfall or increased water flow.
- Participants must maintain a safe distance from waterfall edges and restricted areas.
- Participants must not attempt to climb, jump, swim, or move into restricted sections of the waterfall.
- Participants must use only the equipment and route provided by the authorized activity team.
- No participant may undertake rappelling without the required safety equipment and instructor supervision.
- Any participant who does not follow safety instructions may be removed from the activity without refund.
Rappelling Activity & Equipment Disclaimer
- Waterfall rappelling is conducted using activity-specific safety equipment and under the supervision of the designated rappelling/activity team.
- Participants are required to follow all instructions regarding harnesses, helmets, ropes, descent technique, positioning, and movement during the activity.
- Participants must not independently handle, adjust, disconnect, or tamper with rappelling equipment unless specifically instructed by the activity instructor.
- Adventure Club Pune coordinates the activity as part of the event but participants acknowledge that the actual rappelling activity may involve specialized equipment and personnel arranged for the activity.
- The activity may be stopped or cancelled at any point if the instructors or organizers determine that weather, water flow, equipment, participant condition, or site conditions are unsafe.
- Participation in waterfall rappelling is voluntary and subject to the participant meeting the activity team's safety requirements.
Rules & Regulations
- Consumption of alcohol, smoking, or any kind of intoxicants is strictly prohibited during the event. Any participant found under the influence will be immediately removed from the group without refund.
- All participants must respect nature and local surroundings. Littering or leaving behind plastic, wrappers, bottles, or waste materials is strictly prohibited.
- Loud music, shouting, or causing disturbance in forest areas, villages, or around the waterfall is not permitted.
- Participants must follow the instructions and decisions of the Trek Leader, guide, and rappelling instructor at all times. Their decision regarding safety and activity operations shall be final.
- Participants must wear proper trekking shoes with good grip during the trek.
- Participants must use the designated route and must not enter restricted or dangerous areas.
- Jumping into waterfalls, deep pools, or unknown water bodies is strictly prohibited.
- Participants must not approach waterfall edges, cliffs, unstable rocks, or high-risk areas without permission from the activity team.
- Participants must not independently handle or tamper with rappelling ropes, harnesses, helmets, anchors, or other safety equipment.
- Any form of misconduct, argument, harassment, abusive behaviour, or behaviour causing inconvenience or discomfort to fellow participants or staff may result in immediate removal from the event without refund.
- Adventure Club Pune provides basic safety measures and first-aid support; however, in case of injury, illness, accident, or emergency, expenses relating to medical treatment, evacuation, or transportation shall be borne by the participant.
- Participants are advised not to carry expensive jewellery, valuables, or unnecessary gadgets. Adventure Club Pune will not be responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
- Damaging local property, disturbing wildlife, plucking plants, or engaging in activities harmful to the environment is strictly prohibited.
- Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain suitable travel, medical, and personal accident insurance before joining the event.
- The booking amount is non-refundable if the participant cancels the booking, subject to the official Adventure Club Pune cancellation policy.
- Every event operates with a minimum of 12 confirmed participants. If the minimum number is not achieved, Adventure Club Pune may offer an alternate event, reschedule the batch, or provide a refund as applicable.
- All meals served during the event will be simple, freshly prepared, vegetarian, and as mentioned in the inclusions.
- A dedicated WhatsApp coordination group may be created before departure for sharing pickup details, updates, and on-ground communication.
- Pickup points and timings may be changed by Adventure Club Pune due to heavy traffic, vehicle issues, operational requirements, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- The itinerary and activity schedule are subject to change depending on weather conditions, rainfall, water levels, road conditions, safety requirements, local restrictions, or other unavoidable circumstances.

Participant Consent & Assumption of Risk
By registering for this event, participants acknowledge that trekking, waterfall exploration, waterfall rappelling, transportation, and associated outdoor activities involve inherent risks that cannot be completely eliminated.
These risks may include:
- Slips, trips, and falls
- Wet and slippery surfaces
- Minor or serious injuries
- Water-related hazards
- Sudden increase in water flow
- Rockfall or loose stones
- Changing weather conditions
- Natural terrain hazards
- Height-related risks during rappelling
- Delayed access to medical facilities

Participants voluntarily assume the inherent risks associated with participating in the event and agree to follow all instructions issued by the Trek Leader, guide, and activity instructors.
Adventure Club Pune shall not be responsible for incidents arising from participant negligence, failure to follow safety instructions, unauthorized activity, concealed medical conditions, natural hazards, weather conditions, or circumstances beyond reasonable control, subject to applicable law.
Travel & Medical Insurance
- Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain suitable travel, medical, and personal accident insurance before joining the event.
- Unless specifically mentioned under inclusions, Adventure Club Pune does not provide individual insurance coverage.
- Any expenses relating to medical treatment, hospitalization, evacuation, transportation, insurance claims, or personal emergencies shall be borne by the participant and/or their insurer.
Weather, Water Conditions & Force Majeure
Adventure Club Pune reserves the right to modify, postpone, reroute, reschedule, shorten, suspend, or cancel the trek or rappelling activity in the interest of participant safety.
